When am I leaving?
It looks like the government of Japan will keep the borders closed until the end of February. Our best guess at this moment is entering Japan between Spring and Summer of this year.
What I am doing in the meantime?
My first priority is fulltime language study and my goal is to be at a JLPT N5 Level (very basic) when I arrive.
I have picked up various filming projects through my church and others who have asked me to help out while I am here.
I am involved in a Japanese bible study and have been reaching out and serving the Japanese population in Chicago.
What can you pray for?
Please pray that God would give me a fresh sense of hope as I wait. I admit that I have felt discouraged at times, but I have been reminded that God is in control and I am learning to be productive wherever He has planted me. I would also love if you prayed with me for Japan to open their borders soon.
